Since the DeGroote Finance Association (DFA) was founded in 1998, it had a pivotal role in enhancing opportunities and pipelines for students at DeGroote who were interested in finance. In 2020, the DFA and McMaster Investment Council (MacIC) merged to form the DeGroote Finance and Investment Council (DFIC). The vision of this club is to fundamentally be a resource for students pursuing a career in Capital Markets, Consulting, Corporate Law and more. DFIC has grown rapidly, and with our generous $100,00 balanced investment fund provided by Fidelity Canada, we strive to create opportunities for the next generation of student leaders to build the necessary skills for a successful career in financial services.
